What you’ll do

  • Record numerical and financial data to produce accurate and reliable financial records.
  • Enter journal entries to debit and credit the company accounts.
  • Assist in accounts payable to include posting bills and making payments.
  • Assist in accounts receivable to include invoicing and posting client payments.
  • Update to bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Generate accounting and audit reports for cash receipts, accounts payable and receivable, expenditures, and profits and losses.
  • Reconcile and report differences or issues found in financial records.
  • Administer payroll for client accounts.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

What you’ll need

  • A strong alignment and willingness to consistently demonstrate Forge’s core values
  • Associate’s degree in business, finance, accounting or similar degree is required.
  • Basic knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial data analysis.
  • Ability to use accounting software to record, store, and analyze financial data.
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and related cloud-based software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Ability to follow established processes and standards.
  • Ability to effectively manage day to day tasks and priorities
  • Demonstrated high level of discretion and confidentiality
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and growth mindset required.
  • Ability to execute and effectively collaborate virtually.
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.
