What you’ll do
At Forge, we help business owners grow their business, and we’ll help you grow your career:
- Learn about and understand the firm’s overall purpose, vision, values, and how we help our clients.
- Develop professional communication and collaboration skills to build positive relationships with both clients and team members.
- With support and mentoring from experienced Finance and Accounting professionals, contribute to tax planning, consulting, and preparation for businesses, individuals, and non-profit organizations.
- Gain exposure to finance and accounting advisory services as you explore your career interests.
- Learn and utilize a variety of finance and accounting technology solutions.
What you’ll need
- A strong alignment and willingness to consistently demonstrate Forge’s core values
- Bachelor’s degree in business and/or accounting
- CPA or Enrolled Agent certification is strongly preferred
- 3 to 5 years of experience in public or private accounting with tax experience and capabilities
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Share Point, etc.) and the ability to stay ahead of the curve with continual technology advancements
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
- Experience using various Thomson Reuters software applications and QuickBooks preferred
- Demonstrated high level of discretion and confidentiality
- Ability to execute and collaborate effectively in a virtual environment (on-site and remote).
